| CITAZIONE The band are most well known for being the first non-black band to speak out against afro haircuts as a style due to their susceptibility to catching fire during gigs. This is rooted in the fact that during a gig in early 1989, trumpeter/sound masturbator Jim Ward, long known for sporting an afro extending approximately eighteen inches away from his head in every direction, was set alight by the stage lights and spent the next nineteen minutes flailing and burning. The band and the audience, used to Ward’s natural showmanship by this point, merely ignored him. By the time anyone realised something was wrong, Ward was dead. His cause of death was cited in the coroner’s report as ‘an overdose of flame.’ CITAZIONE 1989 – ‘’In/Dorito/Out’’ 1991 – ‘’This Station Might Not Be Working Properly’’ 1994 – ‘’Placebo’s Doorman’’ 1995 - ‘’Isaiah the Asymmetrical’’ 1998 – ‘’Slightly More Than Zero Possiblility’’ 2000 – ‘’De-Liced At The Crematorium’’ 2001 – ‘’Frankie The Deaf’’ 2002 – ‘’Francis The Lame’’ 2003 – ‘’Jimmy The Blind’’ 2003 – ‘’Frank The Chubby’’ 2004 – ‘’Willy The Stupid’’ 2005 – ‘’Frances The Cute’’ 2005 - " Frances the fucktrarded" 2007 – ‘’Andrew The Peturbed’’ 2008 – ‘’Alex The Retarded’’ 2009 – ‘’The Ultimate Sex (Amputatechue)’’ 2999 – ‘’Ice Cube The Chubby’’ 3000 - ‘’Warhammer 40,000 - Dawn of War: SOUNDTRACK’’ Retrieved from "http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/The_Mars_Volta"
