The album, however, kicks off with the eerie, piano-based "Soledad y Silencio" featuring the breathy vocal contributions of Lisa Papineau (Air, Big Sir). It soon segues into territory familiar to fans of recent albums such as Solar Gambling and Xenophanes, built upon the rock-solid foundation of bassist Juan Alderete de la Peņa (whose often-fretless bass here brings to mind his own Big Sir project) and drummer Marcel Rodriguez Lopez.
