Record Notes: Recorded from stereo mics clipped to hat 6 ft. from the ground spaced 6 inches apart.
The show was recorded about 120 ft back from just left of the center stage in the audience. My iRiver
record level was set to 2 and my volume input level on my battery box at 50%.
Show Notes: This was the best TMV show I have ever seen. From beginning to end there were no
letdowns. They started off at sunset with no opener. The Fistfull anthem rand lound and clear.
The crowd roared and Mars rocked into a killer Drunkship. From there it was glorious. The
background screen was a nice treat for the eyes with the two men with covered heads. Cygnus and
L'via were incredible especially the solo juggling with John Frusciante
The lights were surreal and made the whole stage seem as if it were floating. Another treat
was the fantastic saxiphonist/flutist adding to the mix and the introduction of Paul Hinojos
on the programmer/sound effects who kept it flowin between songs. It's hard to put into words,
the recording will hopefully fill you in. Anyway the show was amazing and it
sounds fantastic, it was a good venue for recording and I hope you enjoy it!
