ottimo fantomas!
comunque la pedaliera di omar non mi pare sia quella, non vedo nessun muff! secondo me è di frusciante (notare il ds-1). inoltre omar, non so perché, copre le marche dei pedali col nastro isolante.

certo che se ci pensate è bestiale.
uno che approccia per la prima volta i mars e sente quella miriade di suoni...poi va al concerto e vede una chitarra con UN pick-up....rimane un po così.
poi ovvio per cercare la soluzione basta guardare in basso e spaventarsi del numero di pedali-effetto.

tra l'altro piccolo in ciso, sono TUTTI stracolmi di effetti, io li ho visti per la prima volta a milanoe sono rimasto di merda. Omar, Juan (che ha addirittura due pedaliere disposte ad L), Ikey (che ha pedali sia a terra che sopra le tastiere), Pablo, Marcel...e ADRIAN!....ci mancava solo che Pridgen avesse il pedalino per il reverse...

beh neanche tanto incredibile.. senti soprattutto 'Tremulant' e 'De-Loused In The Comatorium', fa praticamente di tutto per far suonare la chitarra come qualcos'altro (e ci riesce).

quel pickup (quello del modello signature) è una truzzata demmerda. e questo spiega perchè il suono è veramente così tanto metal e così poco tagliente (infatti io amo 'Frances The Mute', registrato con la divina Telecaster e il suo single coil + lipstick).

“I always liked the idea of learning from these little metal boxes that supposedly have no life and no influence,” Rodriguez-Lopez says. “There are breaks on ‘Wax Simulacra,’ for instance, where I'm just sending the guitar signal through a [Thermionic] Culture Vulture and slamming the shit out of it to where it sounds like some kind of mechanical being. That's what I used to love about getting into recording when I was a kid.”

Rodriguez-Lopez also used a Doepfer A100 modular synth owned by Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante (who also guests on Bedlam) for another round of vocal processing

Ciao a tutti..
Premetto che sono nuovo, anzi nuovissimo di ste parti.. ma seguo i mars volta dagli inizi..

Sinceramente non so se in precedenza ci siano già state aperte delle discussioni sulla pedaliera di Omar..e se cosi fosse utilizziamo questa nuova discussione per parlare delle novità a livello di pedalboard..

Chi di voi ha informazioni sul nuovo set up della pedalboard?oppure ha avuto l'occasione di fotografare qualcosa all'alcatraz di Milano?..

Bene..considero aperta la discussione..

Anzi vi anticipo due grandi new entry che ho potuto notare..
Omar usa un altro whammy (prima serie) al posto del boss Hr2 e un nuovo, fighissimo wha.. che deve ancora uscire nel mercato.. ovvero il wha della ernie ball.. questa informazione mi è stata data da Max che ha il sito "effetti di clara".. dove io gli ho fatto vedere una mia photo che ho fatto a Milano il 27 febbraio scorso..e lui è riuscito a riconoscere di che pedale si trattasse.. è stato un grande..

ora tocca a voi..

E per i più esperti..c'è una super domanda..
qualcuno conosce o presume di sapere l'ordine e la sequenza dei pedali di omar rodriguez?

In realtà quel pick-up è una copia del Seymour Duncan HR-101 Che è una versione potenziata (in termini di Output) del famosissimo HotRail.
Ed ha tutto meno che un suono metal...
Questo pick up ha caratteristiche più vintage rispetto al JB Junior montato sulle AX140 di Omar.
E' un Humbucker dalle caratteristiche Single Coil.
Quindi molta potenza e molte molte moltissime alte in stile Telecaster.
