mi puzza di cazzata, questo, secondo lui, ha sentito il disco se non bello e pronto ma almeno una consistente fetta che gli permette di fare la sparata sui sinth , e qui siamo alla cazzata numero 2 che puzza a mille di ,sisisi il prossimo dei Mars sarà un album acustico, e infatti.

beh, però un conto è dir che sia un album acustico il che poi è l'acustico secondo ORL, un altro è dire che c'è un certo uso di synths. ricorda, tra l'altro, che tra Ikey, Marcel e se spunta ancora ogni tanto Money Mark o Mark Aanderud, tra tastiere e synth vari sono a posto.

Can we expect to be have dvds of The Sentimental Engine Slayer in time for use as stocking stuffers - or perhaps maybe more in the easter-basket range? Bland Omar question, I know - it's just been so quiet on the prostitute strangling front.

I really can't guess. Omar has been MIA for a little while. I've been trying to get answers on a lot of stuff but he's deep in the studio with Cedric.

in realtà magari LORO son sicuri del batterista. siam noialtri fan a non saperne niente e possiamo solo andare per ipotesi. e le ipotesi dicono da tempo che Omar si porta dietro Deantoni con i suoi gruppi solisti mentre Dave Elitch ha suonato con i TMV. Su chi ci sia in studio non è dato sapere, di certo Omar per qualche suo progetto ha anche registrato con Deantoni Parks, di Elitch nei suoi lavori non c'è traccia.

sinceramente nei live che ho visto sul tubo non mi pare che sto elitch abbia un gran feeling con il resto del gruppo, feeling che al contrario parks dimostra di avere con omar e anche con juan (visto che o con l'orl group o con i vato negro i tre dell'ave maria ci son sempre suppongo si sia creato un certo affiatamento)

La speranza è che, a prescindere da chi ci sarà alla batteria, il prodotto nell'insieme valga.

ps; è possibile che abbia contribuito Pridgen?Se, come dice Piero, i dischi dei Mars generalmente son pronti un anno e mezzo prima della pubblicazione sarebbe fattibile...bah

no, decisamente non credo ad apporti di Pridgen, se c'erano saranno stati rimossi. ricordiamo che tra Frances e Amputechture era previsto anche un disco poi accantonato, parte finita in Old Money, parte attualmente sconosciuta, confluita (e modificata) in alcune jam suonate anche dal vivo successivamente (soprattutto quelle basata sul riff di "Jacob Van Lenneppkade")
