| CITAZIONE the picture on the right is of me and jeremy in juarez in 2001. this is around the time defacto was in full effect. just went through an old storage unit of mine that i have not opened in 8 years. inside i found a grip of volta and atdi photos. every pair of pants and shirt i used to wear in a box and an old ghetto blaster that doesnt work that was always perched on omars amp during atdi shows. its the same ghetto blaster on the cover of vaya, which was an unconscious rip off of the last trenchmouth record cover from their album entitled the broadcasting system. it has fred armisen from SNL on drums and you might actually hear a shit load of where defacto got it's kick start. augustus pablo, trenchmouth, king tubby,and sandinista were sort of the roots of what we did. in the words of portlandia..we were being openly "reggae". la foto in questione è questa, bellissima direi.  qui un'altra recente, gaia gaia.  |
