se ricordate, un annetto fa la GSL chiudeva e sarebbe dovuta partire la D.E.I.M.O.S., etichetta che avrebbe curato i Mars Volta e le band a essa correlate. Il progetto, però, non è mai partito come Omàr spiego nella nostra videointervista. Della Deimos è rimasto solo il logo su un paio di uscite (il singolo di Wax Simulacra, l'edizione USA di The Apocalypse Inside Of An Orange), presto sostituite dalla Omar Rodriguez-Lopez productions. Che sembra possa diventare qualcosa di più (vi ricordo che ancora non è stata fatta chiarezza sul contratto dei Mars Volta, non si sa se siano "ufficialmente" ancora sotto Universal):

è una cosa grossa, finalmente interessante, direi una possibile risposta all'eventuale domanda riguardo al futuro del dopo Universal (posto che ancora non è confermata la fine del contratto):

Rodriguez Lopez Productions has launched it's very own Digital store - we don't think it's right not being able to get the full resolution files so we took matters into our own hands and found a great way to offer the albums the way we want, with our own store - Now you can choose how big a file you would like and the prices are much lower too with no middle man - all money collected from this go straight to the fund to continue being able to record albums, put them out and to make more films and run the community of RLP so the prices for the downloads even give you an option to donate a bit more if you like - but that's not so much the point as our continued effort to strip away the middle men that have driven up the prices of music - so we hope you enjoy and also know that we will be putting up specials downloads of live recordings and such that will only be available at the RLP Digital store so keep an eye out.

not all the albums are up there yet, we are working on it - also please feel free to click on the Share buttons on the players and stream the tracks where ever you want

also, just a note to download the higher resolution files you need to click on Audiophiles and Nerds selection in the drop down box then all the other options will appear, we have also opened a digital store for De Facto below are all the links to the new stores
